What we collect

• Account details. When you sign in we store your email address, and any company name, contact name, phone number and country you provide. Sign-in is passwordless — we email you a one-time code.
• Trade activity. Quote requests, orders and sample requests you send us, so we can respond and fulfil them.
• Push notification token. If you allow notifications, your device’s push token is stored so we can tell you about new arrivals and replies to your quotes. You can turn this off in your device settings at any time.
• Nothing more. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking SDKs, and we do not sell your data.

How we use it

To create and secure your trade account, to show you your own agreed prices, to process quotes and orders, to send you notifications you asked for, and to comply with our legal and accounting obligations. Our legal basis is the performance of our trade relationship with you and our legitimate business interest in running it.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run the platform for us — our hosting and database provider, our email provider (for the sign-in code and quote replies), and Apple/Google’s push services (to deliver notifications). They process data on our instructions only. We never share your data with advertisers.

How long we keep it

For as long as your trade account is active, and afterwards only as long as we must for legal and accounting reasons.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, in the GMF app under Account → Delete my account. No email to support, no waiting.

• Removed immediately: your profile (email, company, contact name, phone, country, delivery address), your agreed price book, your PIN, your chat history with our trade desk, your notification history and your device’s push token.
• Kept, but de-identified: orders, quote requests and sample requests. We are legally required to keep records of trades, so these stay in our books with the link to you cut and your personal contact details overwritten.

We email you a confirmation when it is done. Signing in again with the same address simply starts a new, empty account. If you would rather we did it for you, email info@gmf-nl.com.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, or to restrict or object to our use of it. Email info@gmf-nl.com and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Children

The GMF app is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
